Help others while practicing your Accounting skills. MSU Denver’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program gives you the chance to help run a tax service, preparing federal and State of Colorado income tax returns for foreign students, elderly, disabled and low-income individuals.
Get involved on campus. The Accounting Student Organization allows you to get to know your professors and other Accounting students while also offering information on scholarships, job search strategies and career opportunities. Speakers include Denver business and accounting professionals.

Associate Professor Letitia Pleis teaches cost accounting and is working on an open source text on cost accounting. She is active in the Institute of Management Accountants and has taken students to the national conference.
